I've been staring at these for a while, and I just now realized they're orange. In my brain, I'd categorized them as 'neutral', and I'm sticking to that.
I've been processing a bit of fashion inspiration from on-the-street shots from New York Fashion Week, and was inspired by a fashion blogger wearing amazing yet basic Zara courts. I could see these working with all the trousers I've been wearing/leaning towards for Fall. The heel pulls in a little of the colour-block trendiness, as does the orangey tone, while they're basic enough in design to be in style forever.
